Peter (Poem)

Hudson Greig, Contributor.

You will call him Peter, I say,

Looking from one to the other

On the morning of The Day;

The bitterness of the words lost

In inner-ear innocence;

Unaware of the cost

Of a wedding dress;

Ignorant of the man,

Their part in my protest

As they add a prefix;

Grandad.
