Voting will have finished at 10pm and usually in Great Britain, the TV channels and pundits will have released their exit poll. Then after the first few results overnight, we would see a “mock” swingometer reading by Jeremy Vine or another BBC analyst sitting alongside Sir. John Curtice of Strathclyde University to analyse the results once they came in. The Gown doesn’t have the resources or the ability to hold opinion polls or an exit poll and post-voting reaction coverage.
Instead, I will give a very un-scientific and unprofessional “personal prediction” for the overall results:

Sinn Fein – 21 (-6)
DUP – 19 (-9)
Alliance Party – 13 (+5)
SDLP – 15 (+3)
UUP – 15 (+5)
People Before Profit – 2 (+1)
TUV – 2 (+1)
Green Party – 2 (n/c)
Claire Sugden – 1 (n/c)
I am most probably wrong, but it wouldn’t be an election if it wasn’t for pundits and journalists using their own heads to come up with a few numbers to assess how the election “might” have gone.
